Kettle Corn!

I prefer making popcorn on the stove. I love Kettle Corn. I love that making Kettle Corn on the stove isn't as hard as it sounds. It is, in fact, easy!

These are the measurements I used since it's all that will fit in my 2 qt. sauce pan.

1 T. Oil (I recommend a healthy oil: Olive, Coconut, Grapeseed or Palm) Grapeseed is what I have today.
1 T. White Sugar
2 T. Popcorn Kernels

Toss everything in, put the lid on and turn the heat to MED/HI.

Get your bowl ready.

While it's heating, give it a few shakes back and forth across the burner. As soon as you hear the first pop you must constantly move the pot back and forth across the burner. Keep those kernels rolling around. When you have a couple of seconds between, you're finished!

Quick and tasty!  Now we're ready for movie night.

P.S. This is a great recipe for cooking with food storage. Stock up on some popcorn kernels for a cheap treat in a pinch!
